Bhartiya vidya Mandir (USN) arranged an activity based workshop by Cardova Publication on an enlightening theme ‘Teaching and assessment Strategies’.
The resource person ‘Mrs. Monalisha Francis’ acquinted the teachers with the new strategies which can be applied in the teaching-learning process in the classroom. She said that every child is a ‘seed’ and has a unique potential and should be dealt accordingly. Challenges in classroom can only be converted into solutions by identifying various kinds of learners-visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Besides this she discussed various strategies like Jigsaw strategy, click and clung and muddiest point strategy etc to tackle the challenges faced by the teachers. A teacher is a mentor, facilitator who takes his/her students to the new zenith and caters to the needs of every student through his different classroom techniques.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi thanked Mrs. Monalisha for sparing her valuable time to enlighten teachers with the new prominent teaching skills and strategies.
